Kitchen countertop materials we install

• Granite: natural stone, heat-resistant and every slab unique. Our largest selection, from budget-friendly colors to exotics.
• Quartz: engineered for consistent color and very low upkeep. Brands include Q Quartz by MSI, Silestone, Caesarstone and Mont Surfaces.
• Quartzite and marble: the classic veined look; quartzite is the harder, kitchen-friendly choice.
• Dekton and Neolith: ultra-compact porcelain surfaces that resist heat, scratches and UV, including outdoors.

How a kitchen countertop project works

1. Visit the showroom. Meet a sales designer and pick your slab. Bring a rough drawing with measurements; we’ll help with edges, sinks, overhangs and backsplash.
2. Quote and deposit. You get a preliminary quote; a $250 deposit, credited to your project, holds your place.
3. Laser template. Our scheduler books a time to laser-measure your cabinets, which also checks that they’re level.
4. Layout and fabrication. We can lay out your pieces on the slab so you see the veining before we cut.
5. Installation. Installs run in morning (8–noon) or afternoon (noon–5) windows, and our crew calls when they’re 30 minutes away.

Kitchen countertop FAQs

How long does a kitchen countertop installation take?

Most homeowner projects are completed in four weeks or less. The installation itself usually happens in a morning or afternoon window, and our crew calls when they are 30 minutes away.

Granite or quartz for a Columbus kitchen?

Both work well. Granite is natural, heat-resistant and unique slab to slab; quartz gives consistent color and needs no sealing. Price levels overlap, so pick the look you love and we will price both.

Do I need to bring measurements?

A rough drawing with dimensions helps us quote, but we laser-template every kitchen before fabrication, so final measurements are ours.

Can I see my exact slab?

Yes. With over 1,000 slabs in stock you can choose the actual slab, and we can lay out your pieces on it before cutting.

Do you install outside Columbus?

Yes. We install across Central Ohio from our Plain City shop, including Dublin, Hilliard, Marysville, Powell and the surrounding area.
